'Reports', as the published material will be called, should be no more than 1500 words (including Title, Authors& affiliations - References excluded). The intent is to accommodate methods that can be summarized in a shorter format allowing more rapid publication, as well as to provide helpful "bench tricks". No formal organization is required and abstracts need not be used, but an opening paragraph should state the problem and the means for its resolution; this should conveying the precis of the report. A brief summary statement should conclude the paper. There is no limit to figures, but keep the amount and size within the scope of the report (about 2-3 figures is appropriate). For style of presentation please refer to a to a recent 'Report' in Science.
